Participation Conference Exhibition
The IAML (International Association of Music Libraries Archives and Documentation Centres) is the professional association of music libraries, music librarians, and everybody associated with music documentation.
During the five-day conference, many lectures, discussions and workshops will be held, with the goal of developing professional skills and making personal contacts. Every year, more than 400 participants come to the conference, from 50 countries, particularly from Europe, North America, Australia and Japan.
A permanent element of the conference is the exhibition of music publishers and sales agents. You are most welcome to participate in this exhibition. The exhibition, including about 20 stands, will be set up in the corridors, making it easy to come into contact with your target audience and customers. The exhibition will continue for the entire conference. You can emphasize your presence with an advertisement in the conference brochure and the conference programme.
Even more participants are expected this year thanks to cooperation with the conference of the IMS (International Musicological Society). Participants will not only include music librarians from public libraries, conservatories and universities, but also musicologists, orchestra librarians and employees of media organizations.
The IAML Conference Amsterdam will be held in the new conservatory on the Oosterdokseiland.
Various events will also take place in the new main Amsterdam Public Library (OBA), which is located next door.
